The holidays

In the holidays I went to my friends birthday party it was really cool and fun because we played lots of games.there were lots of people at her birthday party which was at her house.Mostly I liked the food after that it ended and I think my friend had a big job cleaning up.

Yesterday for topic room 9 made crystal flowers. First Mrs Bundy-Cooke said get your note taking book and a pencil too. So when we got all of that stuff we had to sit in a circle. After a second Mrs Bundy-Cooke had a two bottles of sea water in those bottles and then she put flavor water in the sea water and suddenly the first one turned red and the other one turned green. Then we had a container and we had tissues and Mrs Bundy-cooke cut the top of the container and we had to put the tissues inside where Mrs Bundy-Cooke cut. Then the teacher put the sea water in our container and we put our lid on and it was amazing. The people who had red was slow but the green people were fast. I think tomrrow its going to work.

Waitomo caves reflections!

I enjoyed the discovry center because we got to see lots of stuff inside the discoverycentre. Mrs Bundy-Cooke took some photos of me. I learnt that a staligmite and a staltgyite could join up together and its called a collumn. I want know why do glow-worms have a little light.

Pop art

This year room9 has been doing pop art. Pop art is a type of art that Andy Warhol did. You have to colour with pastel and then smudge and do it again and again and again. I think room9 likes pop art.but I think pop art is awesome.

Swimming

My favourite thing about swimimg is puting my head under the water. Now I am trying to do a starfish on my back and front with out a noddle or a flutterboard

and I am trying to do dophin dives too.

Welcome to 2012!

I'm exited that I am going to make new friends and finshing our mirorrs in art club this year. My goal this year is to know all of my times tables.
